More late season shots from ElCap.Submitted by Tom Evans on Fri, 06/24/2011 - 01:08 |
Yo... here are a few more shots taken over several days.
Waiting in comfort at the belay on ZM.
Fernando leading Pancake Flake on their 29 hour push on the Nose. Ouch!!!!
Mike Donaldson in big terrain high on Mescalito.
Early morning on Zodiac, in the White Circle. The big flake on the left.... ZM climbs the left side and the Shortest Straw climbs the right side.
Karsten Duncan catches the early light on the Shortest Straw.
Pete works the junk show while Neil cleans the roof pitch on AO.
Brian Sadowski on the first pitch of the Straw.
Korean leader turning the 9 o'clock Roof on ZM.
Scott Stowe and Randy Harken on the edge of the Nose.
Korean climber jugging above Peanut Ledge, Zodiac.
So that's what I have for now.... more later.

One of the best shots!
Tom, the shot you took of the first pitch of the straw is one of the best I've ever seen. I'm not sure why, but something about it is just perfect. Thanks for all the captured memories over the years. I hope there's lots more photos to come in the future.
